Kisling, Nestico & Redick is a law firm that has been serving its community in Ohio through philanthropy for many years. The firm now has 10 offices in the state and serves clients with a legal team of close to 40 personal injury attorneys. In recent years, Kisling, Nestico & Redick have focused on helping school kids at Greenbriar Middle School in Parma through various donations. The firm donated food to the school that was valued at more than $1,000 recently, which went to low-income families whose children shouldn’t have to worry about how they are going to get food to eat.
Kisling, Nestico & Redick has also helped the community out through the creation of the KNR Cares About Kids campaign. For years, the law firm has been a part of The Portage Lakes Polar Bear Jump, which was created in 2004. The event is ran on a yearly basis to help support the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, and in recent years, there have been hundreds of participants. Donations from the event go to support hundreds of local food pantries. Shelters also receive support from the money raised by the Polar Bear Jump.
Kisling, Nestico & Redick have been sending a polar bear team to the event since it began. Altogether, the firm has raised close to $109,000 by taking part in the event. In 2018, the team at Kisling, Nestico & Redick were able to raise more than $26,000, which exceeded its goal of $25,000. The CEO of the region’s food bank commented that the firm has helped to pay for 100,000 meals for people in Ohio. In the past, the firm has also sponsored the Coats & Cans for Kids Turkey Giveaway. The charitable event helps by taking in jackets that have been barely used and food items that go to the regional foodbank.
