Fisher also advises to change every single password on the network from time to time, instead of saving on your hard drive, perhaps your computer could crash or even get hacked, it’s always safe to write down the new passwords on a piece of paper and put them in a safe drawer at home. If you get annoying or harassing phone calls, Fisher says to change your number immediately. Finally, he says never post anything online that may be less-than-flattering.

Ryan Holmes, the founder and CEO of Hootsuite, made a lot of great decisions on the path to establishing his company. Then, he made an error when one day when positing on social media. On the same day several employees were laid off, Holmes posted an Instagram photo of a drink in hand with the message “Cheers to my homies.” The recently fired employees went on a tirade and posted scores of angry comments on the comments section.
